Well here we are at nearly the end of our Scouting Centenary year and what a way to finish the year with the fantastic Fireworks and bonfire last Saturday night! Thank you to all who helped build the bonfire – if you saw it in daylight you could have mistaken it for some sort of low cost housing! Also thanks to all who helped pollard the trees the week before to enhance the view of the castle.
I was delighted to lead the Group at the village Remembrance Sunday service, we had a near 100% turn out from our young people and with Benedict playing the Last Post made it a truly moving event.
I have heard that Beavers have been getting ready for Christmas and have written their letters to Santa one of which I would like to share with you.. .
I’ll keep you informed if Santa answers the Beavers letter!
